For the last seven years Mr Baz Taylor have been teaching Modern Languages (French and Spanish) to A level and university students in addition to teaching media courses at various universities. Lecturing on Acting for Camera and how to run a studio as a Director.


After leaving Oxford University he joined Granada TV as a researcher, trained on the local news for a year and then moved into investigative reporting on the acclaimed World in Action series. He became a Producer on the series which concentrated on political and current affairs of the day, including filming in South America and Europe because of his Spanish and French qualifications.. This enabled him to gain a great deal of varied documentary experience. In his subsequent stints as Executive Producer and Producer in drama he was responsible for administering large budgets and the organisation of large groups of people including multi-layered scheduling such as on "The Bill" involving five film units shooting simultaneously each day.


Mr Taylor has worked extensively in ITV, the BBC and European Production Companies using my languages. He was born on August 30, 1944 in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He is a director and producer, known for Shooting Elizabeth (1992), Snakes and Ladders (1989) and Dempsey and Makepeace (1985), Coronation Street(1970), Midsomer Murders(1998) and many more.
