We teach English and Maths for year 4. Year 4 – a stage where student settle down with their Key Stage 2 curriculum, become aware about their growing expectations and depth of curriculum. By Year 4, a student is aware about all subjects and their span to study for. A student at year 4 also starts exploring other areas of development like music, sports, art etc.

Year 4 is also a transition phase for many 11 Plus aspiring students who get exposed to non-conventional subjects if they start preparing for it. Our teachers also assess the ability of a year 4 student for 11 Plus exams if requested and discuss their own viewpoints with parents.

Champs Learning understands the need of this year and thus have spread the curriculum in such a balanced way that a student gets exposed to all variety of levels from simple to challenging in literacy and numeracy.

Books and assessments: Our year 4 curriculum for Maths and English is structured with 8 books each covering all the needed topics, concepts, and enough practice material. We also do assessment after every book. The entire course for the year (42 weeks) is divided into 8 books. These books are specially written by Champs Learning faculties. Each book focuses on a particular topic. We also assess students progress at the end of each topic.

Classroom size: Our classroom group is not more than 5 students. This helps a teacher to interact every student personally.

No of teaching sessions: The whole course has 42 teaching sessions and unlimited doubt solving support with appointment. Though we have our students only for one hour per week as compared to the schools 30 plus hours, our session plan is well structured and balanced so that each subject has sufficient time to contribute effectively to learning.
