UCAT Workshop

The UCAT test preparation course is a 24 sessions programme that runs from 9:30am to 11:30 pm each Sunday from 28th May to 13th August.

The course covers all the subjects from UCAT exams and unlimited doubt solving. The subject specific expert teachers will be teaching the course.

Our UCP (UCAT comprehensive Program) course comprises of following areas.

  • Verbal Reasoning
  • Decision Making
  • Quantitative Reasoning
  • Abstract Reasoning
  • Situational Judgement
Since there is no set syllabus, the test can be quite overwhelming for parents and students. Champs Learning with its experienced staff and team is successfully running this UCP to help students. The entire course is planned and executed to work on the weaker students and tougher sections of the exam. And to achieve this we make sure that the number of students in each face to face class do not go beyond 5.

For the student who can't make it our face to face classes we have one to one online classes. The duration of each class will be of 2 hours.

The structure of this course is as below
  • Total No of sessions will be 24
  • Verbal Reasoning – 5hrs
  • Decision Making – 4hrs
  • Quantitative Reasoning – 5hrs
  • Abstract reasoning – 6hrs
  • Situational Judgement – 4hrs

The programme aims to increase your test score by preparing you to sit your UCAT exam. There are two elements to your UCAT test. The first element contains 4 subsections. For each of the four subsections you will receive a score between 300 and 900, these scores will be added together to give you an overall score. These scores are used in various ways by different universities, so check the university selection criteria before you make your application. The second section is the Situational Judgement score which is marked in 4 bands A to D.

  • An introduction to UCAT allows you to get familiar with the test.
  • Verbal Reasoning. Learn how to spot key words, identify common tricks, and tackle things like juxtaposition, dispersion through text and mitigating or contradictory terms. Put this into practise with some example VR questions.
  • Decision Making. Discover how to spot assumptions and strong or weak arguments, identify syllogisms and draw conclusions from them, tackle Venn diagrams, take on single parameter and multi-parameter puzzles and spot the maths behind the questions. Test your understanding with example DM questions.
  • Abstract Reasoning. Master our four-step process and how to identify the shape, look at the simplest box, spot the pattern, and match to a test shape. Make sure you’ve understood by practising AR questions.
  • Quantitative Reasoning. Grasp the level of maths needed and how to use the UCAT calculator. Learn the common pitfalls, how to avoid them, and when to flag a question and move on. Use practice QR questions to cement your knowledge.
  • Situational Judgement. Understand what’s being tested, what attributes are being looked for, and what that means in relation to example situations. Work through SJT questions to strengthen your learning.
  • Questions, a chance to ask the experts.
